Claire is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist and Life Coach, fully registered and insured to support children, adolescents, and adults in both Australia and the UK (online services only). She has extensive expertise in delivering engaging and effective online therapy and coaching.
She is the Founder of Apex Ability Ltd, a multi-award-winning Speech and Language Therapy practice based on London’s prestigious Harley Street.
Throughout her career, Claire has worked across hospitals, community health centres, schools, rehabilitation services, care homes, charities, and independent practices, giving her a broad and adaptable skill set that allows her to support individuals in a wide range of settings.
Claire is a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming clinician who uses a strengths-based, person-centred approach. She prioritises self-advocacy and respects each individual’s unique communication style, finding deep fulfilment in empowering others to thrive.
In addition to her clinical work, Claire has delivered online education and training to more than 5,000 parents, guardians, and educators worldwide.
Churchill Fellowship
In 2012, Claire became the first Speech and Language Therapist in the UK to receive a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship. This enabled her to travel to Canada and the USA to explore the use of music within speech and language therapy, particularly in neurorehabilitation following brain injury and stroke. Since then, she has collaborated closely with Neurologic Music Therapists, delivered workshops, and presented at national and international conferences. She continues to liaise with a global network of speech and music therapy professionals.
Voice Specialist
As a choral singer, Claire has developed specialist expertise in voice therapy. She works with professional voice users including teachers, sports coaches, radio presenters, call-centre staff, and singers.
Claire has supported performers working in London’s West End and regularly delivers Vocal Health workshops. She is also frequently booked for school staff professional development days, helping educators prevent and manage voice difficulties.
